Method Two. Go to Lenovo support website to download and install the latest BIOS. Reboot the PC and try again. If the problem persists, go to the next step. Shut down the computer. With the battery in (remove the AC adapter), attempt to turn on the computer by holding down the power button for 30 seconds. This should not turn on the computer.

Leave your Chromebook plugged in for 3.5 hours and try turning it on again. If you don't see a light, try using a different charger. If the device still isn't charging, then there's likely a problem with the charging port or the internal battery, but you can try charging the Chromebook without the charger just to be sure that's not the problem.
Knowing the cpu probably can handle getting hot, you could maybe raise the lower limit in a fan adjustment plan to avoid having fan spinning up at lower temps. I hope it isn't a normal thing with fans spinning up and down on idle. I will get a Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 14" with an integrated gpu (on the cpu), in a few days, and I guess I will find out.
1. Unplug your charger cord. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Press and hold the "Power" button for 30 seconds. 4. Now plug back in the power/charger cord. 5. Now put the battery back in. If this doesn't
Remove the battery. 4. Press and hold the "Power" button for 30 seconds. 5. Now plug back in the power/charger cord. 6. Now put the battery back in. If this doesn't help, then test the power cord to see if it is good. Either try your cord in another device, or try another devices cord in your laptop.
Click Start (Windows icon) and Settings. Select Update & security -> Check for updates. Download and install the latest audio driver from here. Reboot the machine. Search and open Control Panel (select View by: Category). Open Hardware and Sound -> click Sound -> switch to the Recording tab. Double-click Microphone. Switch to Advanced. Fix 9: Add your Wireless Network Manually. If your Lenovo laptop still can’t detect wireless networks, we suggest adding it manually. To do so, follow these steps: 1) Press Windows + I to open the Settings app. 2) Click Network & Internet. 3) Click WiFi on the left, then click Manage known networks. 4) Click Add a new network. Then turn it on (With the power supply). You can also check if it shows anything on an external monitor, though I would doubt that in your case. But you can try Lenovo anyway. Check on their support site if your laptop is in the warranty period- just go to support.lenovo.com and click Detect Laptop (If you hover your mouse over PC you'll see it).

The bottom became hot because of the charger (which it usually did when charging). I asked my brother and he said try removing the battery/connector and plug it in then try turning it on. I did that, still nothing and the light didn't even come on. I'm wondering if it's a battery issue or something else. The display is not working. Use the following steps to resolve display, screen, or monitor issues. Check Power. Check for Logo or BIOS screen. Check Cables. Check the Monitor Settings. Check Display Settings. Update or Roll Back Drivers. Try Different Applications. Visit Lenovo's support page. Hover over the PC support category and select Detect Product. It will download Lenovo Support Bridge. Install and launch the tool, then use it to scan for driver updates. Install any available, including those not related to the camera, and restart the laptop. Manually reinstall the camera.

Shut down your laptop and unplug the power cord. Get a screwdriver and unscrew all the screws in order to access the battery. Locate the battery and disconnect it carefully. Removed Battery. Let it be for about 15 minutes. Connect the battery again and screw the screws. Plug the power cord and turn on your system.
